AGPE25E Choice or Sweep -Bucci or Caliber 2017 Bull Calf

Glen Park Elk Futurity – Choice OR Sweep

It has been a few years since we had a futurity bull in the industry, we think he is in this lot.  It has been some hard decisions to put any of these on the block but once in a while one must take a leap of faith.  These are from some of our top-producing cows, pedigree’s stacked along with proven production.

SELLING CHOICE OF GLEN PARK’S  TOP 3 2017 BULL CALVES

Buyer has the option to pick their bull on sale day and take it home or if lot meets “Group Reserve” they can take all three for 3 times the money.  What is a “Group Reserve”?  Choice of ONE bull sells regardless of Group Reserve”  If “Group Reserve” is met buyer will have the option to sweep the lot and take away our top bull calves. “Group Reserve” will be announced during the sale once it has been met.  We will work with buyers, boarding available, and collecting bull for Export or Syndication if required down the road.

First we will introduce you to AGPE 25E.  This will be the first Bucci bull calf offered from Glen Park.  He is a ½ brother to Garmadon who scored 405 6/8 @ 3 and was the NAEBA International Champion in the typical 2 year old class last year.  AGPE 25E and Garmadon’s mother is sired Levi and the grand dam is by Prospect.  This has been a proven cross for us and if you look up Hundo in the Biggest Racks you will find another example of the Levi Prospect Cross so you know why this mother produces.

AGPE 993E is out of Gangnam’s Dam.  We used Gangnam along side Garmadon as they were only 11” apart, we collected Garmadon as he was typical and we felt that there is some following for typical and he would be marketable.  Gangnam was not collected therefore did not get into the limelight.  This past fall Gangnam was 424” @ 3.  He obviously went in with cows once again and we are very please to have another batch of offspring from him.  The icing on this male calf is that he is out of a proven mother and although we are waiting to see the results for Caliber I will have to say that at this stage Caliber looks to be a cut above any bull we have ever raised.  If X-Ray produced a 424” three year old this Caliber son will be on track to break new records.  Caliber is Double Bred “Raisin Bread” keep in mind his dam was a REED cow so 993E has Raisin Bread top and bottom. Add in that AGPE 207R is a full sister to Presumption’s Dam.

AGPE 982E is very similar to his cousin above.  Here we have Gangnam’s Dam bred Horizon and then bred her to Caliber.  Horizon is no stranger to the field.  37lbs of velvet at two years old and sired Hook AGPE 524Z, and Herc AGPE 668A who was 450” @ 3 hear at home and after moving down to Sun Rise F Elk Farm in Utah he scored 525” @ 4.  AGPE 982E is sire by Caliber and has proven production going right back to Gangnam’s  dam.  Caliber is Double Bred “Raisin Bread” keep in mind his dam was a REED cow so 993E has Raisin Bread top and bottom. Add in that AGPE 207R is a full sister to Presumption’s Dam. In short  WOW!
